Worship is central to the life and work of God's people. The Worship Arts Ministry of FBCJ exists to lead our congregation in meaningful worship each week and to provide ministry outlets for those gifted in music, drama, and the arts. Special programs and evangelistic events are designed to encourage the church and to reach our community and the world for Christ. These ministries help children, youth and adults grow in their artistic abilities so that what we offer to God is of the highest quality. It is our desire to help all, those on our ministry teams and those to whom we minister, grow in spiritual maturity. Following is a sampling of our Worship Arts Ministry offerings. Music
At FBCJ, music plays a vital role in helping our church
accomplish its mission. Choirs, ensembles, small groups
and musicians have the opportunity to lead in worship
in varied settings. Throughout the year, we provide
opportunities for people of all ages to use and develop
their talents for a clearly defined purpose: to honor and
worship God. Join a team as we offer choirs and vocal
teams for kids, students, and adults; and we also have a
vibrant praise band and instrumental ministry.

Our biggest music group includes YOU as we worship and sing together as a
congregation on Sunday mornings!
Drama
Our Drama Ministry is just that—a ministry. It's not
a place for those who just want to be on stage, break
into the acting business, or see their names in lights.
Most team members have never had any formal training
to be “actors,” but are focused on presenting life-changing
messages through drama.
We have creative drama and dance opportunities
for children, students, and adults. We utilize puppet
ministry, clowning, lyrical dance, human video, black
light experiences, storytelling, reader's theatre, one act
plays, dinner theatre and more.
Media/Technology
The Media/Technology Team provides the sound, lighting,
video and projection that is vital for great worship
experiences and special events. We use state of the
art audio, video, and projection systems and provide
maximum support to our experiences. If you have an
interest or talent in this area, we need people like you!
Creative Arts
Our church is rich with expressive creatives who long
to cultivate connections with God artistically. Whether
using paints, sculpture, stencil, stained glass, or stitching
at our annual Art Show, or using the ancient art of
storytelling at our Harvest Festival, you’ll find many
unique opportunities to express your creativity to God
through the Worship Arts at FBCJ.!
