Looking Ahead...


  • March 14 - Mexico Mission Trip Interest/Planning Meeting: On Sunday, March 14, at 3:30 p.m., there will be a meeting in the Salt House for anyone who is interested in helping with the planning of a mission trip to Mexico in September. This will also include plans for the collection of filled shoe boxes to take to the children of the area. Please prayerfully consider how you can be of use for this mission.

  • March 20 - Habakkuk Bible Study—How Lord, Why Lord? (Women) - Ladies, come join us on Saturday, March 20, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. as Linda Carol Royalty leads us in studying God's word from the book of Habakkuk.

  • March 23 - Annual Class for DeBerry Prison Clearance Anyone who would like to have clearance status at Deberry Special Needs Prison must attend a once-a-year class. This year the class will be held on March 23 at 6:00 p.m.

  • March 28 - Then & There: Settled & Done (Easter Musical Drama)
    This powerful Easter musical will be presented by our music and drama ministries on Palm Sunday, March 28, at 5:30 p.m. Join us as we celebrate the day the blood of Jesus washed away our sin, and the payment for sin was settled and done.

  • March 30 - Governor's Mansion Trip (Senior Adults) - Our next senior adult day trip has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 30. We plan to visit the Governor's Mansion in Nashville on March 30. We will leave the church parking lot at 8:00 a.m. Reservations are limited to 30, so call the church office right away to save your spot. Reservations will be taken first come, first served.

  • April 15-17 - Art Festival - Thursday through Saturday, April 15 - 17, 2010, we will host an art festival. This FBCJ event is open to the community and will be centered on the theme, Praise Him, inspired by the Scriptures Psalm 150:1-6 and Psalm 100:1-2. Learn more about this event . . .

  • Good Friday Service - April 2 at 7:00 p.m. - Join us for this special communion service. (NOTE: There will be no Wednesday evening services/activities on March 31.)

  • May 2-4 - Spring Conference - This year, our Spring Conference, May 2-4, will be led by Dr. Rhonda Kelly. She is the daughter of Bob Harrington, who was known as the “Chaplain of Bourbon Street.” Her family was broken when her father left his wife for another woman. Dr. Kelly will use the biblical character, Samson, to reveal how we can overcome pain to be renewed to God's purpose.

  • May 23 - Wednesday Night Live Children's Production On Sunday, May 23 at 5:30 p.m., our childre will present Joseph: From the Pit to the Palace, a Stomp Musical. Plan now to attend this fun, upbeat musical about Joseph, a man who modeled integrity, faith, and more!
