The following is a listing of missions currently supported by FBCJ:

  • Aphesis House –Seeking to Improve Men's Lives through Pride, Preparedness, & Purpose - This faith-based halfway house provides transitional housing for previously incarcerated men and seeks to empower each participant to change his behavior and habits through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Mike & Jan Bennett – Missionaries to Venezuela – Formerly of FBCJ, our church supports their mission by donations to the International Mission Board. In addition, FBCJ mails the Maracay Messenger, their periodic newsletter.

  • The Bridge Ministry – As a mission of FBCJ, our church provides monetary monthly support to this mission that takes food and the Gospel to the homeless under the Jefferson Street bridge at 6 p.m. on the 1st and 4th Tuesday nights of each month.

  • Campus Outreach - Evangelism, building relationships and sharing the gospel message with college students on an individual basis, in small group settings, and at large group meetings. The long-term vision of this mission is that these college students would become leaders for Christ all over the world. FBCJ provides monetary monthly support to this mission.

  • Child Evangelism Fellowship - Greater Clarksville Chapter - CEF is the largest evangelical ministry to children in the world, in 176 countries and every state in the USA. Our church supports the local chapter of CEF, which includes 7 counties and Ft. Campbell. The Good News Club is a ministry of CEF.

  • Disaster Relief - Southern Baptist Disaster Relief provides more than 200 mobile feeding units staffed by volunteers who can prepare and distribute thousands of meals a day, as well as assist with clean-up activities, temporary repairs, reconstruction, counseling, and bilingual services.

  • The Gideons – This organization focuses on distributing complete Bibles or New Testaments in schools, prisons and a wide variety of places. These copies of God's Word are printed in more than 90 languages and are either given directly to certain individuals or placed in selected public locations where large numbers of people, who may be searching for answers, will have the ability to encounter the Word of God. FBCJ supports the Gideons through an annual love offering.

  • La Espiga - A new mission of FBCJ located in Durango, Mexico. The pastor and his family have been working with the native young people of the surrounding mountains for several years, evangelizing, discipling, educating and housing them. FBCJ provides monthly monetary support to help La Espiga evangelize and disciple the people in this area.

  • Nashville Baptist Association - The Nashville Baptist Association's goal is to accomplish what one church cannot do alone. The NBA is involved in church planting and supporting existing Baptist churches in the area. Our church currently donates $50/month to this ministry.

  • Nashville Rescue Mission - Following God's command to love our neighbor as ourselves, the Nashville Rescue Mission seeks to help the hurting of Middle Tennessee by offering food, clothing and shelter to the homeless and recovery programs to those enslaved in life degrading problems. FBCJ supports this mission through a special Christmas offering

  • New Season Church – A new church plant of FBCJ located in the Whites Creek area. NSC is a dynamic community of faith established by God to serve the individual, family and community. Everyone is invited to join them on Thursday evenings at 6:30 at Grace Healthcare to participate in an intimate, meaningful, relevant, and Spirit-filled worship service. NSC is intentional in impacting the Whites Creek community with love, peace, purpose and diversity! NOTE: Beginning February 5, we will be worshipping at Alex Green Elementary School (3921 Lloyd Road, Whites Creek). The new worship day and time will be Sundays at 11:00 a.m.

  • Seasonal Workers Ministry- Barren Plains, Tennessee - A Bible study ia held and a meal is prepared and served on Sunday mornings in Barren Plains as an outreach to the seasonal workers in that area. The church provides monetary support and members have the opportunity to volunteer to participate.

  • Tennessee Baptist Convention – The TBC is part of the Southern Baptist Convention and provides support for the International Mission Board, the North American Mission Board, seminaries, etc. FBCJ donates $25,000 each year to help send missionaries around the world through this cooperative program.

  • Unity Covenant Church – FBCJ has been helping to financially support this church plant in Ashland City. They are highly engaged in fulfilling the Great Commission and making disciples for Christ! Last year there were over 40 new converts! Their primary focus is to teach, love and cultivate each one to be disciples for Christ.
