Online Giving

Now Available: Convenient & Secure One-Time or Recurring Gifts



Jesus taught that the way we spend our money is an indicator of our hearts, and Paul taught that if we are loved by God and love Him in return, we will give cheerfully, sacrificially and regularly.

In our digital age when people are increasingly paying bills and conducting commerce online, FBCJ has chosen to make online giving available to those who are interested. We have partnered with easyTithe and Suntrust to provide our church family with an easy and secure way to make one-time or recurring contributions to either the General Operating Budget (tithes and offerings) or our Freedom from Debt Campaign using a debit/check card. (Note: Credit cards are not accepted because we do not want people to go into debt or increase their debt when giving to the church.) You are still free to give via the offering plate during worship services or by mailing your contribution to the office, but you now also have the option of using the internet. We welcome you to give whatever God has called you to, by whatever means God has called you to.

Whether you missed a Sunday or simply prefer the convenience of online giving, it only takes a few minutes to set up your secure online giving account. Once you have set up your account, you'll be able to log in at any time to make a contribution, modify your account settings, and/or review your online giving history.

In addition, you can rest assured that our online giving tool is 100% secure. All personal, debit/check card, and bank information is submitted using 128 bit encryption. There is no stronger form of protection.

INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Click the "Online Giving" button below to launch a pop-up window containing our secure giving tool (You may want to disable your popup blocker if you can't see the window). The pop-up window will display a login screen.

  2. The first time you use the tool, you will be required to set up an account. To do this, click "First Time?" Fill in your personal details (all of this information will be secured and will not be used for any other purposes). When you have filled in all of the fields, click "Submit". This will set up your account and log you into the secure giving site. If you have already set up an account, type in your user name (email address) and password and click "Login".

  3. Now that you are logged in, you can make a contribution, set up recurring contributions, modify your account information/settings, and/or review and print your online giving history.

  4. If you wish to make a one-time contribution, click on the "Tithe" tab, select the fund (General Operating Budget or Freedom from Debt) to which you wish your gift to be applied (Note: You can only choose one fund per transaction.), complete the payment information and click "Submit". You will receive a contribution receipt by email.

  5. If you wish to set up recurring contributions, click on the "Auto-Tithe" tab and make your choices regarding fund, amount and frequency. Complete the payment information and click "Activate Auto-Tithe".

  6. To view and/or print your online giving history or change your account information, click on the "View History" tab. From here you can view a listing of all of the transactions you have made through the web site. Your name and contact information appears in the upper left corner. Below it is a link that says, "Edit My Information". Click this link if you wish to change any of your account information (name, address, phone, email, etc.)

  7. When you have completed your transaction(s) and are finished viewing/changing your account information, be sure to always log out.
