OUR THEME FOR 2012
As FBCJ prepares to launch into 2012, it does so with excitement and expectation, with a grateful heart, and a tireless commitment to God as He leads His church. In considering a theme for 2012, our ministerial staff was drawn to 1 Corinthians 12:12 and the concept of the church working together to accomplish the will of God.
The new year offers our church the opportunity to see many GOD-sized things accomplished. We are preparing for the official launch of New Season Church in the White’s Creek area. We are fulfilling our dream to renovate our Kitchen and Family Life Center and develop new ministry opportunities. We are committed to a continued trend of growth in our Sunday School ministries and worship experiences, and we are open to any new opportunities to join God on mission where He leads. Our church is poised for amazing things in 2012. The key is that we understand our focus: fusion, one body of believers, working as one church, together.
Five key functions help define our vision in 2012. Fusion is achieved when a clarity of purpose brings people of passion and giftedness together. To achieve fusion, as a church we all must:
CONNECT in vital relationship with both God and man.
GROW discovering the person of God; discerning the will of God.
SERVE working together, building the Kingdom.
GIVE surrendering our resources in a life of obedience.
GO stepping into our world with the Gospel.

During the month of January, Pastor David Royalty preached a five part series highlighting our theme for 2012.
