Fellowship & Service Groups

  • Scrapbooking Class - Have you ever wondered if someone you knew but can no longer speak with because they passed on was a Christian? The goal of this class is to leave a written legacy of our faith to show future generations God working in and through our lives and pointing them to the Lord. This is a journey that will take a little time and thought, but the end result will be handed down to future generations to speak for you when they can no longer hear your voice. This group meets each Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the Salt House for a short Bible study on a different topic each week, as we explore and record how God has worked in the lives of our families. You will need cardstock, paper cutter, a good writing pen and some scrapbooking paper. Please bring photos of yourself the first week. If you have never scrapbooked before, that's okay, we can learn together! If you plan to attend, please please contact Linda Carol Royalty at 615-876-4643 or by email so that she can prepare.

  • Christian Sportsmen - Are you an avid hunter, fisherman or general outdoorsman? This group of sportsmen are united in their passion for the great outdoors and their love for Jesus Christ. CSF activities and events include a number of annual fundraisers (Wild Game Tastiing, Labor Day Barbeque Sale, Annual fish Fry, etc.) that provide fellowship opportunities and support for the ministries of FBCJ. For more information, call Kelly Gupton at 604-5637 or John Savary at 429-7189.

Everyone is invited to join us for fellowship and fun while we share ideas and experience to create items to take home or to brighten someone else's day. Learn more >>

  • Sewing/Quilting Ministry - This ministry meets every 2nd Saturday of the month in the Salt House foyer from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for mothers, daughters, friends and neighbors to have quality time together while making something special for someone. This club is open to all ages and all skill levels. You don't have to know how to sew to participate; we can teach you — or you can help with the cutting and pinning. Our aim is to “learn and serve.” Bring a sewing machine (if available) and scissors. For more information, contact Peggy West at 876-2525.
