 Are you an avid hunter, fisherman or general outdoorsman? If so, this group is for you! FBCJ's Christian Sportsmen ministry consists of sportsmen who are united in their passion for the great outdoors and their love of Jesus. Through this common interest, they hope to lead others to the salvation that only Christ can provide. This ministry provides men with practical tools for building lasting relationships based on common interests, lifestyles enhanced by character building discipleship, and a creative forum for introducing others to the Christian lifestyle. Christian Sportsmen activities and events include a number of annual fundraisers (Wild Game Tastiing, Labor Day Barbeque Sale, Annual fish Fry, etc.) that provide fellowship opportunities and support for the ministries of FBCJ. Be sure to use the form on the tear-off section of the Sunday bulletin to order your chickens ($7) and/or shoulders ($28). They are also offering pork by the pound ($8/lb) this year. You can pick up chickens after 5 p.m. on Friday. All items must be picked up by 9 a.m. Saturday, or call Paul Wilkerson (218-8492) or Buddy Batson (913-444-9272) for delivery or freezing arrangements.
