Children's Ministry

The LOFT logoOur Children’s Ministry, called the LOFT (Living Out Faith Truths), exists to provide children and their families a spiritual support system in which they can grow in their knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through our enlivening, biblically-based programming, children have the opportunity to learn about God and build a strong spiritual foundation. Children are the future church, and it is our goal that every child involved in our ministry would develop a lifelong relationship with the Savior. Our children’s programming includes:

Sunday Activities

  • Sunday School (8:30 and 9:30 a.m.) - Every Sunday morning children have the opportunity to go on great adventures through the Bible. Sunday School provides children with the opportunity to learn about the Bible and how to deal with life’s issues through the Scripture.View a complete listing of our children's Sunday School classes.

DON'T FORGET, AUGUST 3 IS PROMOTION SUNDAY! All Grade age classes should go to their new classroom of the school grade they are going into. (Our policy is that if your child is being held back in school, your child should remain in that grade level class rather than move up.) If you have any questions please call Bro. Michael at 876-0527.

  • Awana (5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.) - Awana (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is an exciting programwhere children can grow in their knowledge of the Bible. The program focuses on bringing children closer to God through age-appropriate worship, Scripture memory and team-oriented recreation. There are two clubs of which consist of Sparks, K-2; and Truth and Training Grades 3rd to 6th grade. Learn more about our Awana program. If you are interested in working in Awana, please contact Michael by calling 876-0527 ext. 111 or by sending email.(NOTE: As we prepare to start a new Awana year, be praying about how you can help. Worker sign-ups will begin on August 10, and child registration will begin on August 24. You will find registration cards and further information at the table in the worship center foyer. See Bro. Michael if you have any questions. Awana Club meetings for the 2008-09 year will begin on Sunday, September 7.)

Wednesday Activities

  • KidArts Workshop - The KidArts Workshop (formerly “Children's Production Company”) meets during the regular school year. The children will learn songs, play games and work on a music/drama production as they learn more about life choices with a Christ centered view. KidArts Workshop provides an environment in which a child learns many different aspects of stage and production in addition to the music. Beginning September 3, we will meet for rehearsals every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Room 204. If you have questions or would be willing to help in any way, please contact Music Minister John Lemonis by calling 876-0527 ext. 104 or by sending email.
