 Sunday, September 25 after the 11:00 serviceThe First Grade Bible Presentation has been scheduled for Sunday, September 25, and will be held in the Family Life Center following the 11:00 worship service. This event is for all incoming first graders and their families. First grade is when we as a church begin teaching basic Bible skills such as the books of the Bible, chapter location and how to find specific verses. We have found that many children do not have a full Bible. To assist them with the development of Bible skills, on this day we will be presenting each incoming first grader with a full Bible and a LOFT Bible book bag. Each Bible will contain a book plate with the child's name. In addition to the presentation of Bibles, each child and their family will be treated to lunch. To make reservations for your first grader and family, please call the Children's Ministry office at 876-0527 Ext. 111 or complete and submit the following form. The deadline to make your reservation is Thursday, September 22, at 4:30 p.m. |
